WHAT IS AN ALUMNI?

Alumni is a term that refers to every student who has graduated from an institution. The term also extends to associations of former students of an institution, where graduates can maintain contact with their alma mater and use this environment to grow and build connections.

THE UPES ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

At UPES, we take pride in our students and aim to continue supporting and helping them grow even after their academic journey ends, which is the inspiration behind the UPES Alumni Association. Established after the first graduating class from our university, this association focuses on the mutual development of our former students as well as the philanthropic development of the university to support its growth and positioning both in Tunisia and internationally.

BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP IN THE UPES ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

A link with the professional world

The alumni association can be considered as an integration strategy for new graduates. Being part of a woven community of students is a strategic lever that will make it possible to establish links between graduates and companies, it can also be a 'networking' environment allowing to start professional relations involving several fields and leading to the production of many innovative projects.

A career trigger

The relationship between current students and alumni is also important. Alumni can offer their expertise and know-how acquired from their time in the professional world to their colleagues. With this relationship, there may also be several opportunities for students: chances of networking and development of contacts that will be useful to them in the future, employment opportunities following their graduation, internship possibilities on a national level and international, etc. The doors that can open thanks to the alumni network are numerous and constitute an opportunity for support and mentoring that can have excellent results for students.

OUR ACTIVITIES

EXCLUSIVE EVENTS:

The UPES alumni association regularly organizes open-access networking events for our current students, faculty members, and university graduates to provide a space to connect and support each other or participants can make connections and find new opportunities.

COACHING AND GUIDANCE SESSIONS:

The UPES regularly organizes (more often during the last semester of the school year) orientation and coaching events whose aim is to prepare students in the process of developing their end-of-study projects and which are almost at the stage of integration into the labor market and to answer their questions concerning hiring, professional life, the development of curriculum vitae, etc. These events are planned by the alumni community and are open to all students registered at UPES.
