Program Objectives

Logistics Flow Management: Procurement, Distribution, and Transportation

  • Creation of "third-party" files and classification of logistics service providers according to the criteria and needs of the company.
  • Development of consumption or sales forecasting models for items, preparation of customer orders.
  • Contribution to the establishment of analytical operating accounts for transport or handling vehicles.
  • Study of operating costs of commercial transport vehicles and establishment of rates; contribution to the forecast calculation of transport vehicle operating budgets.
  • Study and logistical organization of product distribution networks (choice of transportation means, storage points, providers. Development of schedules and procedures).
  • Analysis of consumption/sales and optimization of stocks in the product distribution chain.
  • Organization of internal management procedures for processing supply and distribution orders, transit management, and import and export files (implementation of tracking procedures, management of customs regimes, "INCOTERM" sales terms, insurance contracts, and transport contracts).

2.Management Control and Logistics Operations Management

  • Optimization: organization and planning of logistical resources for production, storage, handling, and transportation.
  • Management control and dashboard: creation of indicators for effective monitoring and optimization of logistics chain operations.
  • Resource and operation security: designing checklists for the control and monitoring of freight or transport vehicles.
  • Logistics information system: software assistance/utilization; creation of databases for activity management and reporting.

3. Project Management: Planning Logistics Operations

  • Planning of logistics operations (choice of means, transport scheduling, organization of vertical and horizontal handling operations, storage).
  • Assignment management of activities to human resources (management and timekeeping of personnel responsible for driving vehicles, loading/unloading, and storage).
  • Study of critical tasks and calculation of margin of maneuver for better management of malfunctions.
  • Establishment of a network of activity indicators for real-time monitoring of operations and prompt responsiveness.
  • Organization of various other events such as seminars, company fairs, conferences, business meetings, trade shows, group trips...
