Collaborative Workshops at UPES on Innovative Learning

Collaborative Workshops at UPES on Innovative Learning

In collaboration with the Association for the Promotion of University Scientific Events (APÉSU), UPES organized several major training sessions in February and March 2024, focused on innovative learning methods.

On February 28 and 29, 2024, the training onthe Competency-Based Learning Approach was highlighted. This method, focused on the acquisition of practical and transferable skills, was explored through interactive workshops. Participants discovered how this approach meets labor market needs while providing personalized learning tailored to each student’s journey. It was an opportunity to enhance teachers’ pedagogical practices and prepare students for the demands of the professional world.

On March 1 and 2, 2024, UPES continued this momentum with a training session on " Problem-Based Learning: Principles and Application Areas". This training allowed participants to explore the foundations of this pedagogical approach. Discussions focused on the advantages of this method for developing analytical skills and solving complex problems in academic and professional contexts.

The third training, focused on the Project-Based Learning Approach,, was held in the form of workshops on March 8 and 9, 2024. Participants explored the integration of information and communication technologies (ICT) in learning projects, with practical workshops on ICT Integration Projects. These events provided a unique opportunity for teachers, researchers, and students to refine their skills in the use of these innovative approaches, enhancing their pedagogical practices.
