Program Objectives

To develop knowledge of financial and economic engineering and analysis using a teaching approach that takes account of the company's internal and external environment through a scientific approach based on modern means of communication.

To deeply understand the functioning of financial markets and apply portfolio management techniques and financial risk hedging strategies.

To acquire a mastery of the organization and functioning of the most common financial products (stocks, bonds...) as well as speculative markets (energy, commodities, basic products...). It also enables the acquisition of skills in tools for modeling banking risks and the banking environment. A good understanding of banking operations and products.

To acquire skills in actuarial methods and tools and to apply them in professional practice. The theoretical and methodological knowledge necessary to pursue a career as an actuary and prepare future researchers in this field.
