UPES students organized a demonstration on October 19, 2023, alongside administrative and academic staff, in solidarity with the Palestinian people to condemn the "massacres committed" in the Gaza Strip.
They waved Palestinian flags and chanted slogans for the liberation of the people of Palestine.
The participants demanded an end to the Israeli raids on the Gaza Strip, condemning the massacre at Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital, which resulted in hundreds of Palestinian deaths and injuries.
The protesters also condemned "the barbarity of the Israeli aggression targeting civilians and children, with the aim of exterminating the Palestinian people and forcing them to flee from Palestine."
The students called for a donation drive in collaboration with the Tunisian Red Crescent.
