Training on the Ethics of Academic Research

Training on the Ethics of Academic Research

On January 12 and 13, 2024, UPES organized a training on " The Ethics of Academic Research" in collaboration with the Association for the Promotion of University Scientific Events (APÉSU).

This training allowed participants to familiarize themselves with the fundamental principles of ethics in research. Teachers, researchers, and students were able to exchange ideas on best practices for conducting rigorous academic research that adheres to international ethical standards.

Over the course of these two days, various topics were discussed, including conflict of interest management, scientific integrity, researcher responsibility, and the respect for participants' rights. This initiative is part of UPES's commitment to promoting academic excellence while ensuring adherence to ethical standards in all research conducted within the institution.
